Trominoes

Who thinks this would make a good quilt pattern?

It's called Trominoes and it's my latest project for school. We had to write a recursive program that would cover a 2^n X 2^n board with trominoes, leaving blank only one square. And guess what? It's done and it's only Monday and the project is not due until Thursday :-).

  1. You'd need a good design wall to keep that one straight -but it would be a fun way to use up scraps -and play "eye spy" trying to find the one blank square (I could not find it)

So what size scraps do you want us to send you????

  2. Break it down into a 9 patch or 16 patch block and go to town. looks good. If you can contain the units in an 81 patch you could add border to really set them off. cw
