It looks like my blogging friends are gearing up for 2011 with a variety of special activities for the coming year. Of course, a UFO challenge is a given. I've also seen a PhD challenge. Judy over at Patchwork Times is hosting a monochromatic color challenge. Some are challenges for themselves while others are challenges for blogging friends.
Over the next few weeks I'll pick (or maybe create) one or two challenges in which to participate. Which ones have you seen that look interesting? Any you actually plan on doing?

Friends
Last night I updated my facebook status to read:
It's always nice to find out that friends are quilters!
And now for the rest of the story -
Natalie, who attended my church while completing her law degree, found me on FB last night and friended me. We must have been on at the same time, because as I was checking out her page, she was checking out mine. Guess what we noticed? We both quilt! and we both blog! So here's her blog. Pop on over and get to know her.

Okay - I'm in withdrawal
In case you haven't noticed, it's not been two weeks yet. It hasn't even been 1 week. I just couldn't take it. Not blogging is like not breathing. Don't live long without either, lol, unless you're at a quilt retreat that doesn't have internet, then you might survive not blogging :-D.
Okay, so the reason for this post: I'm caught up, at least until the July block is posted this week, on my BOM that I do. May blocks mailed out earlier this week and June blocks are set to be dropped off at the PO this afternoon.
